I am 25 years young, ethnic Chinese with Filipino sensibilities (born and raised Manila!). In 2012, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Multimedia Arts. In the past 3 years, I have spent most of my time working and studying in foreign soil - Singapore, Taipei, and presently in Dubai. Outside the cyberworld, I am your typical 9-to-6 employee, constantly investing my most valuable resources, youth and time, in enriching activities.
When I was younger, I would chanel my happiness, fears, curiosity into pen-inked drawings and poetry. Stretch my strategic thinking with RPG and imagination with Sims. On Sundays, sing second voice at church. During my sophomore year, I was randomly tagged along to audition for the pep squad and unbelievably got in (despite being 100% klutz about sports), which absolutely pushed me beyond my comfort zone..everyday. These years I thought to be aimless, yet in retrospect, it's the seemingly unrelated activities altogether that shaped the the way I go about solving issues and adapting to ever-changing circumstances. Learning and exploring new things remain constant to me, reminding me that a creative person creates beyond just art and design.
As I go thru my non-linear career, I am delighted to have taken the risk of working for different roles and in different countries. Along this journey, I have learned to let go some passion as I welcomed better fitting ones. I no longer indentify myself as the girl who constantly scribbles or obessing over anime, but an independent modern women who is dreaming of providing creative, substantial solutions, and taking a larger role in improving society.. or atleast in the circle of my influence!
